Two subjects. One desk. No outsourcing.
I teach Maths and Economics myself, across the levels that matter most for ambitious students.

Mathematics
GCSE, A-Level, and IB Maths. Built from real understanding upward, so the method survives an unfamiliar question rather than collapsing at the first surprise.

Economics
A-Level and IB Economics. Clear models, sharp analysis, and essay technique that earns marks because the argument is genuinely good, not padded.

The Eigenstate Method
The framework behind the work. How I build durable understanding, then train it against real exam conditions until it holds.

One tutor, fully invested in a small number of students
I am a Cambridge-educated specialist in Maths and Economics, working one to one with ambitious students preparing for GCSE, A-Level, IB, and international equivalents. There is no agency, no rotating roster of tutors, and no handing your child to someone you have never met.
Families come to me when they want more than a grade bump. They want their child to actually understand the subject, to think clearly under pressure, and to carry that into whatever comes next. That is the work I do.
"The goal is not a student who can repeat the answer. It is a student who understands why the answer is the answer, and can find it again when the question changes."Dave Bell Education
What families say
How working together actually goes
A clear path from first enquiry to a student who works with genuine confidence.
Enquiry and fit
You get in touch directly. We talk through where your child is, what they need, and whether I am the right person. If I am not, I will say so.
Diagnosis
I work out where understanding is genuinely solid and where it only looks solid. The plan is built on that, not on a generic syllabus checklist.
Building understanding
Weekly 1-1 sessions that build durable intuition first, using the Eigenstate Method, so the knowledge holds when the question changes.
Exam training
We then train that understanding hard against real exam conditions, technique, and timing, so the grade reflects the depth underneath it.

Occasional writing on how students actually improve
Short, practical notes on maths, economics, and exam technique. No noise, sent only when there is something worth saying.
Enquire about a place on the roster
Tell me about your child, their level, and what you are hoping to change. Places are limited and I take on students deliberately.
