Building understanding that holds under pressure, then training it hard against the exam.
Most tutoring teaches procedures. A student learns the steps for a familiar question, repeats them, and gets the marks until the exam changes the question slightly and the whole thing falls apart. The Eigenstate Method is built to avoid exactly that.
Build understanding first
Before we touch exam technique, we make sure the underlying understanding is genuinely solid, not just solid-looking. I work out where a student really gets it and where they have only learned to fake it convincingly. The plan is built on that diagnosis.
Then train it against the exam
Once the understanding is durable, we train it hard against real exam conditions: technique, timing, mark schemes, and the kinds of unfamiliar questions that separate good grades from top ones. Because the understanding underneath is real, it holds when the question changes.
Ambitious students and the families behind them
I work with ambitious students at GCSE, A-Level, IB, and international equivalents, in Maths and Economics. The common thread is not a particular starting grade. It is a family investing in long-term academic trajectory rather than a short-term fix.
Some students come in already strong and want to reach the very top. Others have lost confidence and need the foundation rebuilt properly. Both fit the method.
Limited places, taken seriously
I keep the roster small on purpose. Real 1-1 work means prepared sessions, genuine continuity, and a tutor who remembers exactly where each student was last week and what they struggled with. That is impossible to do well across a long list of names.
So places are limited, and I take on students deliberately. If a student is not the right fit for how I work, I will say so rather than fill a slot. That honesty is part of what families are paying for.
